bAmbrozine Endeavour, aunt of Kellishaw Ollivierre, is not hiding her feelings about the loss of her 24-year-old niece. Kellishaw was one of six women who perished in a blaze at Campus Trendz in Bridgetown last Friday evening.

There are two names which were bandied about on Saturday mornings several years ago. Three students from the University of the West Indies Open Campus received 50% bursaries from the Mustique Charitable Trust last Tuesday as part of the organization’s aim to help persons in need pursue higher education.

For this academic year, eleven students will benefit from scholarships through the SCOPE Foundation.  These bursaries are for those who are unable to effectively access primary or secondary education because of a lack of basic resources.
