The Prime Minister refused to answer questions asked of him in the House of Parliament by the leader of the Opposition, who is a representative of the people.


This per capita thing

Mr. Editor, I hear all this talk of GDP and Per Captia Income (PCI)  that I am beginning to wonder whether all this scientific talk is not just that, TALK.  I mean, has anyone really taken the time out to find out how this figure thing works?


Keep the ULP

I write, Mr. Editor, to express my unambiguous support for Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and the ULP Administration.  I hope, like me, that the majority of Vincentians will take with them to the polls, the knowledge that never in the history of this country, has there been so much positive development in such a short space of time.

Why change?

Under the NDP government, jobs were hard to come by. Every time you visited a Minister, they would say they cannot promise you a job. Meanwhile, the rich kept getting richer and the poor stayed poor.

Open letter to the public

A colleague of mine (a Licensed Land Surveyor) wrote in the newspaper some time ago that if someone saw government doing something perceived by that someone to be wrong, that he should not voice an opinion; especially if that someone expects a ‘hand out’.


Development Councils
